Where is my data stored?

Entirely on your device. Caber Clock has no account and no server, so nothing you enter is ever sent anywhere. See the privacy policy for the full detail.

I lost my scorebook after deleting the app. Can it be recovered?

Unfortunately not — because your data lives only on your device, removing the app removes it too. We'd recommend exporting a season sheet PDF before deleting the app if you'd like to keep a record.

The implement weights don't match my games' rules. What do I do?

The pre-filled weights are common defaults, clearly marked "common — check your games rules." Open Implements and edit any weight to match the specific games you're entering; your change is saved for that games only.

How does the caber dial scoring work?

Tap the clock face the way you'd see it standing behind the thrower. 12 o'clock is a straight, perfect turn. You can also mark "did not turn" or "no pick" instead of a clock position.

A games website or rules link won't open in the app.

Some governing-body sites occasionally change their address. Tell us which link failed using the form below and we'll fix or remove it in the next update.

Can I use Caber Clock outside the US?

Yes — it supports the classes commonly used at games in the US, Canada, Scotland, Germany and the Netherlands, plus feet-inches or metric distances.
